Hartford HealthCare PA Surgical-Critical Care Residency Intensive postgraduate 12-month surgical and critical care training experience for the physician’s assistant.

This broad and vigorous postgraduate advanced practitioner (AP) experience will allow the resident to gain rapid professional growth in surgical critical care, the operating room, daily rounds, and inpatient care. The AP is expected to be part of the learning and decision making involved in all facets of the peri-operative and critical care management of the patient. Simulation training, weekly conferences, and daily rounds are integral to the learning objectives and goals.
