Regina Ann Leddon Weeks, age 63, of Slocomb, AL went to her heavenly home surrounded by the love of her family on October 8, 2025.

Regina was born on November 14, 1961, to Helen Thames and James Leddon in Geneva, AL. She attended Coffee Springs Schools growing up and met the love of her life, Delone, in high school. They went on to have three wonderful children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In her life she was a devout follower of Christ, and most will remember her by her sweet caring soul. She was an avid lover of football, gardening, and her cats. She was most known for her sewing skills. Regina started her love of sewing by working under her mother, Helen, at her shop “Helen’s Alteration’s” while there she worked to further perfect her skills. She would then go on to use her skills to serve the community’s sewing needs at “Etheridge Cleaners” where she worked for many years before opening her own shop “Regina’s Alterations”. Mrs. Weeks was always willing to assist any last-minute sewing needs for wedding dresses, pageant, and prom dresses. Regina will forever be missed by many and cherished by many more.

Regina is preceded in death by her parents James Leddon and Helen Thames. Her three beloved brothers Frank, Terry, and Joe Leddon. Brothers-in-love Buddy Jones and Elliot Gibson. And her sister-in-love Jackie Leddon.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Delone Weeks. Her children Delina Kelley (Stacey), Justina Weeks (Marquez), and Jacob Weeks. Grandchildren Cameren Mcbryde (Kenny), Ti’Shaunda King (Phillip), Dustin Kelley (Erin), Brianna Malysse (Cameron), Alyssa Kelley, and Cayden Weeks(Riley). Great grandchildren Isaac, Sasha, Kaydee, and Kyson King, Naomi, Bailey and Malcom Mcbryde, Arielle and Re*****on Kelley, And Selah Weeks. Siblings Linda Gibson, Richard Leddon (Kathy), June Jones, Ronald Leddon and many more nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford, AL. The family will begin receiving friends at 5:30 p.m. with service to follow at 6:00 p.m.. Flowers will be accepted at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

Wanda Gail Bryant of Opp, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at her residence. She was 74 years old.

She was born on November 8, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Johnnie and Lucille Benton.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Shaun Jeremy Bryant; grandson, Jeremy Joseph Sanders; and great grandson, Ian Lee Beucher.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

Scott Wade Pittman of Bonifay, Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his residence. He was 63 years old.

He was born on June 19, 1962 on Torrejón Air Force Base in Madrid, Spain to the late Everett Wayne Pittman and the late Audrey Joyce Blackwell Pittman.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Williamson and brother, Mike Pittman.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Vera Cruz Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

Durward Lyle Hawkins of Geneva AL passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born in Nashville, TN and grew up in Mary Esther, FL. He is a retired Air Force firefighter, and also retired from his second career driving buses and trucks. The last few years were spent riding his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Avis Hawkins, his wife Carol K Somerset Hawkins, and two nephews Wylie Schmitt and JB Hawkins. He is survived by his son Robert (Kerin) Hawkins and his daughter Jana (Jeff) Hewett. His oldest brother Jimmy (Sigrid) Hawkins and sister Julie (Matt) Schmitt. His niece Tina Hawkins and nephew Aaron Schmitt. He has numerous grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. Some by blood and some by marriage. Special thanks to his grandson Dustin Somerset and his wife Lorena and baby Vickie for helping us get thru this summer of his illness. Honorable mention Cheryl Johnson, mother of his children.

Graveside services will be 2 PM, Thursday, October 2nd, the day before his 70th birthday.

Dorothy Jean Hall, of Geneva, Alabama, was called home on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Southeast Health surrounded by her loved ones.

Dorothy was born on December 6, 1946 to the late Ramsey Jordan and Mary Frances Ezell Jordan. She loved the Lord and served her whole life. She was an honorable wife and devoted mother. She loved everyone and everything she believed in.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Franklin D. Hall; sister, Katherine Seals; and grandson, Jeffery Scott Hall.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Hall (Timothy Harrison); son, Donnie Frank Hall (Michelle Hall); grandson, Donnie Lee Hall; granddaughter, Jessica Danielle Hall; great grandson, Zerek Scott Hall; and great granddaughter, Lily-Rae Reese Hall.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and service times will be announced once finalized.

Clara L. Odom of Black, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Flowers Hospital. She was 69 years old.

Clara was born on April 6, 1956, to the late Alf Booth and Katie Booth. She was a graduate of Bethlehem High School, Class of 1974.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stacey Douglas Odom. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Odom of Black, AL; sister, Janice Pollard (Gary) of Geneva, AL; brother, J. Carter "Alf" Booth (Ann) of Bonifay, FL; sisters-in-law, Peggy Hatcher (Carthel), Patsy Herring (Tommie), Ann O'Quinn (Jeff), Jan Dillard (Ricky); brother-in-law, Jerry Odom all of Hartford, AL; along with a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Clara loved doing arts and crafts and anything to do with sewing. She worked at Tate's Grocery as a stocker/cashier.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Douglas Kitts officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Bonifay, FL with Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing. Clara's life was a testament to her character was a very kind and a very honorable soul. She was very dedicated to her family. She was the type of person that was there for everyone in their time of need. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Mr. Nicky Carlton Hobbs of Black, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his residence in Black, Alabama after a lengthy illness. He was 76 years old.

Nicky was a remarkable man whose compassion, intelligence, and generosity touched the lives of many who knew him. He was known for his willingness to help those in need, he never hesitated to lend a hand or share with others.

He was a gifted mechanic, he had an uncanny ability to fix anything and everything. In his younger years, Nicky's passion for cars led him to build and race them, earning him a well-deserved place in the Treasure Coast Raceway Hall of Fame in Fort Pierce.

Later on, he continued his service to the community as the Mayor of Black, Alabama leading with integrity and a heart grounded in faith. A devoted man of God, Nicky not only believed in the Word but lived it out in service and love.

Above all, he cherished his family deeply. He adored his wife and treasured his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Freedom Christian Fellowship Church in Black, Alabama with Bro. Eric Norris, Bro. Phil Baxley and Bro. Tracy Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Black Community Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Gloria Hobbs of Black, Alabama; sister, Shirley Hinote of Ft. William Albert Rivenbark passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at his residence in Dothan, Alabama. He was 69 years old.

He was born on December 16, 1955 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Albert and Laurjean Rivenbark.

William was a man of great determination and strong work ethic. His success in life was entirely self-made and hard earned, a true reflection of the kind of man he was. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing.

Above all, William was a loving father and grandfather. He shared a special bond with his daughter, Ashley, and treasured every moment with his grandchildren, Clark and Cecilia. His love also extended to his nieces and nephews, who held a very special place in his heart. A loyal friend to many, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dric Williford officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Laurjean Rivenbark, wife, Julie Rivenbark; grandparents, Marvin and Exie Wood and W.C. and Martha Rivenbark; nephew, Albert Bettis; aunt, Martha Sue Wood; uncle, David Rivenbark, and brother-in-law, James Cowart.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Ramsey and son-in-law, Peter of Dothan; grandchildren, Clark and Cecilia Ramsey of Dothan; sister, Laura Cowart of Geneva; brother, Marvin Rivenbark (Laura) of Wicksburg; mother of his child, Cathy Clark Rivenbark; cousin, Margaret Hendrix (Rodney) of Hartford; and many special nieces and nephews.

Thomas E. Davis III, “Tommy,” passed away at his home on August 5, 2025, at the age of 58.

Born on October 22, 1966, in Redding, Pennsylvania, he was a devoted husband to his wife, CeeCee Davis, and a loving stepfather to his stepsons, Jeremy Roberds and Andrew Roberds.

Tommy was a hardworking and dedicated man who was deeply passionate about his profession. He was best known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Despite his
numerous responsibilities, he consistently made time for his family and personal passions.

Although Tommy preferred not to be the center of attention, he undoubtedly deserves to be celebrated. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on
everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A lover of nature, Tommy found joy in gardening, often spending his nights and weekends tending to his garden. His passion for growing fruits and vegetables was something he shared
generously with friends and family.

Tommy is survived by his wife, CeeCee; his stepsons, Jeremy and Andrew; his goddaughters, Brittney and Lacey; his parents, Darlene and Thomas; his brother, Roger Davis, as well as many
friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

A private celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on September 6, 2025.

Joseph Michael Loftin of Hartford, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at his residence. He was 70 years old.

Mike was born on February 24, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Samuel Eugene Loftin and Sarah Ward Loftin. Mike was a gifted and creative soul. He had a beautiful artistic talent and exceptional woodworking skills. He also had a knack for fixing or working on just about anything, earning the affectionate title of “tinkerer” from his family. He loved to fish, enjoyed singing, and was the king of “dad jokes,” always bringing laughter to those around him. Mike was also a skilled mechanic. He was family famous for his delicious spaghetti. Above all, he cherished his family, who will forever remember his love, humor, and the countless ways he made their lives brighter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Sardis Church in Hartford under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Samuel (Sonny) Loftin.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Brannon Loftin; children, J. On August 8th, Mary Eleanor Brannon Birdsong peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior. A devoted woman of faith, Mary loved Jesus — and Jesus loved her.

Mary was born on August 28, 1934, to Pillie and Isavell Brannon and was the first of what would be seven children. In 1958, Mary married the love of her life, Henry. Together, they built a legacy of love, faith, and family. They made their home in the Hartford AL area where they raised their children.

She is lovingly remembered by her five children: Susan Glenn (Daniel), Henry B. Birdsong II (Moriel), David Birdsong (Karla), Helen Poteat, and Rebecca Balkcom (Kip). Mary’s legacy also lives on through her 9 grandchildren (Nathan, Ryan, Erin, James, Sarah, Amanda, Johndavid, Bryan and Kristen) 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mary was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed sharing life with her brothers and sisters who are Jan Peterson (Fred), Martha Patillo (Pat), Roger Brannon (Linda). Sister in laws Ginger Brannon and Bobbie Jean Brannon. They all remained close over her lifetime and enjoyed spending time together.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pillie and Isavell Brannon, Her husband Henry Birdsong, her granddaughter Kate Brannon Wells, her brothers Bobby Brannon, Harold Brannon, Earl Brannon and sister in law Marjorie Brannon.

Mary’s life was a testament to grace, strength, and unwavering faith. Her warmth and wisdom will be dearly missed, but her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Bottoms Garden Chapel in Hartford, AL. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeal Home.

Jimmy Earl Helms of Geneva, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Flowers Hospital. He was 71 years old.

Jimmy was born on March 8, 1954 in Andalusia, Alabama to the late John and Flosie Helms.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Larry Mock officiating. Burial will follow in Whitewater Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
