Swinging for a cause! ⛳

Thanks to the incredible support at the 36th Annual Hartford Hospital Auxiliary Golf Tournament, nearly $500K was raised to enhance patient safety with new nuclear medicine technology.

The funds will be used to purchase an automatic infusion system which significantly reduces the radiation exposure for our patients and colleagues.

We're grateful for our generous community, dedicated sponsors, and amazing team who joined us for a fantastic day out on the course at the Hartford Golf Club! This , we’re proud to celebrate the lifelong impact of breastfeeding and the incredible support systems that make it possible.

Breastfeeding supports cognitive development, reduces healthcare costs, and empowers families. When we provide skilled counseling, supportive environments, and access to accurate information, we’re investing in the future of our communities.

We also honor our lactating colleagues by offering safe, private, and comfortable spaces for milk expression during the workday, because sustaining breastfeeding means supporting our workforce, too.

If you've chosen to breastfeed and are looking for extra support, you can get tips and advice by joining our Hartford HealthCare Breastfeeding Support group, supported by our lactation consultants.

🎓👏 A big congratulations to the graduates of Project SEARCH! Over the past nine months, these dedicated interns contributed across Hartford Hospital departments including food & nutrition, the gift shop, respiratory, Food4Health, case coordination, environmental services, the Digital Print Shop and the mail room.

Together, they volunteered an incredible 6,026 hours since September 2024. Thank you to our partners at MARC Inc. of Manchester for helping make this impactful program possible!
