The Consumer and Family Advisory Council (CFAC) for Carelon Behavioral Health and the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CTBHP), is excited to announce the 10th Annual iCAN Conference. This event is a tenth year anniversary milestone, and CFAC is excited to celebrate this significant accomplishment. It’s one of the universal worries all parents share - harm coming to a loved one. DDS protocols around abuse and neglect have left parents with questions, frustration and few answers. Thankfully, some of those parents worked with the CT legislature to pass a bill that will make improvements at DDS. That is a win for all DDS families.

This is a massive injustice and oversight by our current administration. Research is overwhelming for the need of mental health education/ support in public schools and the implications it has for adulthood. Stand up for our youth's mental health and quality of life.

The Trump administration is moving to cancel $1 billion in school mental health grants, saying the award reflect the priorities of the previous administration.
