Malta House of Care Providing free primary health care to uninsured CT adults since 2006. www.maltahouseofcare.org

The Malta House of Care Clinic has been providing free primary health care to uninsured adults in Greater Hartford since 2006. Thanks to a small paid staff and passionate corps of medical volunteers, Malta has provided more than 60,000 free visits to about 10,000 patients — and counting. As an independent non-profit, Malta receives no public funding, but instead is supported 100% by philanthropy — more than $1 million per year from corporations, foundations, family funds, individuals, and other non-profits like Trinity Health of New England and the Archdiocese of Hartford. Together with our supporters, we strive to reduce geographical and financial barriers to health care and provide a path to better health for thousands of adults who might otherwise turn to the ER for care — or receive no care at all.

❤️ Help us ensure healthcare remains a right, not a privilege. No one should be forced to choose between healthcare and basic needs. At Malta, every patient is met with dignity, respect, and the care they deserve — regardless of their ability to pay. As the number of uninsured adults rises, your support keeps our mission strong.
