Happy St. Patrick’s Day from The Gardens of StoneBank. 🍀

As spring approaches, we want to remind families that all decorations will be cleared from the cemetery grounds on April 15th as we prepare the grounds for the season ahead. 🌷

Any items remaining after that date will be respectfully removed by our staff and properly discarded. If you would like to keep any mementos placed at your loved one’s resting place, please be sure to remove them prior to April 15.

We kindly ask that no new decorations be placed until after the cleanup has been completed.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep the cemetery grounds beautiful and peaceful for all who visit. 🌿

As the seasons change, we’re proud to highlight the Floral Program at Gardens of Stonebank. It's a simple, thoughtful way to ensure your loved one’s space is beautifully maintained year-round.

To assure continued placement, our team will place flowers and wreaths at your loved one’s space on your behalf. You choose the type of remembrance, the seasons you’d like to participate in, and the length of time — we handle the rest.

It’s a meaningful way to honor those you love, with the peace of mind that their space will always be remembered with beauty and intention.

For more information about enrolling in the Floral Program, please contact our office.

Mardi Gras reminds us that tradition is what keeps a community alive. 💜💛💚

Parades, music, food, family - year after year, generation after generation. It’s not just a party… it’s heritage in motion.

Cemeteries play a similar role. They are where stories are preserved, where family histories are anchored, and where culture is passed down. In places like New Orleans, even the famous above-ground tombs have become part of the city’s identity - a reflection of resilience, artistry, and deep roots.

Mardi Gras celebrates life loudly and colorfully. Cemeteries honor it quietly and reverently.

Both remind us of the same truth: community lasts when we choose to remember, gather, and carry traditions forward.

President's Day is a time to reflect on leadership, legacy, and the impact one life can have on generations to come. 🇺🇸

Fun fact: Some of America’s most visited historic sites are actually cemeteries. Places like Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon welcome millions of visitors each year - serving not only as places of remembrance, but as spaces for education, reflection, and national pride.

Cemeteries preserve history in a deeply personal way. They tell the stories of leaders, veterans, and everyday citizens who helped shape our communities and our country.

Today, we honor those who have led and we’re reminded that legacy is built one life at a time.

Flowers and dinners are wonderful, but real care also means having important conversations together.

Valentine’s Week is the perfect time to discuss planning ahead with the people you love most. It brings clarity, removes burden, and ensures wishes are understood.

At The Gardens of StoneBank, we believe planning is better together and we’re honored to help families prepare with care and compassion.

It may be snowy outside today, but one of the most beautiful highlights of our park comes in the warmer months - our Trees of Remembrance Program

This living tribute allows families to honor a loved one in a meaningful, lasting way while helping preserve the natural beauty of the Gardens of StoneBank.

Each memorial tree includes:
• A 6’ tree
• A permanent memorial plaque
• A one-year growth guarantee

Families select a peaceful location, personalize the plaque, and our team handles planting, installation, and ongoing care.

Your donation creates a lasting legacy that grows for generations. If you’re interested in learning more, we’d be honored to help.
