If you’ve started following me recently, you might think this is a grief page — but it’s not! 🌿

I don’t always talk about grief, but that’s just the season I’ve been in. The past year has brought so much change — a long-term relationship ending, learning to be a single mom, and closing my in-person shop (my dream) so I could simplify and breathe again.

As painful as it’s been, I wouldn’t change it. Grief has drawn me closer to God, helped me deeply appreciate peace, and separated the wheat from the chaff — the people and things no longer meant to stay.

Every time I share openly, so many of you reach out with your own stories, and it reminds me why I keep showing up this way. 💛

Through it all, the herbs have been my steady companions — helping me rest when sleep wouldn’t come, calm my anxious heart, and remind my nervous system that safety still lives in my body. If you’ve been following for a while, you know the last year (and then some) has brought more changes than I could have ever imagined. I’m feeling so grateful and so ready to step into a new year full of fresh energy and exciting things ahead. 🌿

The most common question I get is: How did you learn herbalism? 🌿

There are so many ways to learn, but for me, it’s been through mentors — I’ve been lucky to study with many talented women over the years. And confession time… I’ve never actually finished an herbal course I bought 😅

The biggest takeaway?
Anyone can learn this — whether you have money or not, whether you have someone to teach you or not. It just takes curiosity, trial and error, and a whole lot of practice.

In short: herbalism is simple, but it’s a lifelong practice. 💚

It’s been a tender couple of years, for me and for so many of you.

Yesterday I shared a bit more personally in a video and heard from so many of you about your own journeys—heartbreak, overwhelm, being stretched to the very limit. My prayer for us all is that as we continue to heal, our capacity for joy and love continues to deepen. Please know everyone of you that reached out is in my prayers.
