Denim Day began after a harmful court ruling suggested clothing implied consent—millions now wear jeans to say it never does! 💙👖

No matter how long you’ve been in this profession, learning never stops. Redwood will be closed on Friday, 4/24 in order for Heather to attend an all-day workshop. Normal office hours will resume on Saturday, 4/25.

One of my favorite things to do when a client graduates from therapy is to provide them with a simple and tangible reminder of what they learned about themselves during the process of therapy and what will continue to resonate with them now that our time together is drawing to an end. Because therapy looks different for each person, what they choose to remember and keep with them moving forward in their life will also be different. Today I had the pleasure of having this conversation with a client who chose these specific words as a reminder of our time together.

Redwood Counseling will be closed the week of Christmas, 12/22-12/27, and will reopen for sessions on Sunday & Monday, 12/28 & 12/29.
Tuesday & Wednesday, 12/30 & 12/31, the office will be closed, as usual.
Sessions will resume on Thursday, 1/1 (New Year’s Day) and Friday, 1/2.
Saturday, 1/3, Redwood be closed again for Heather to spend time with her family to celebrate her birthday and then reopen on Sunday, 1/4 as usual.
