The Heart Of Lucky We have sent out over 1,000 carepackages worldwide as of 2021. We started in late 2016. We send carepackages out to dogs and cats with cancer .

Also, to K9 officers, MWD,CWD,Therapy and service dogs who have cancer , hurt in line of duty, sick or injured (active or retired ) . We do this all in the memory of our Lucky we lost unexpected to cancer on Nov , 20, 2016. Lucky was a rescued black lab we rescued off streets at approx 7 yrs old . He changed our lives , he was the sweetest soul. We hope we are making you proud Lucky .

Even though I closed down The Heart Of Lucky out of trauma response . I still honor my boy ! Lucky today makes 9yrs ago you unexpected passed away due to a silent deadly cancer called Hemangiosarcoma of the spleen it had already spread to your lungs ans enlagres your heart when you passed out and collapsed that day . I’ll never forgot Datril Caldwell Hill Christa Brakefield and Jenny Spring Rivard for coming over that day and helping and then helping Mae a make shift stretcher to get him to car and loaded up and he layed his head on my lap in back seat as my sister drove to er . I petted him and loved on him . They rushed out to get him and things are a blur as my emotions were all over the place. My boy saw his nana auntie and me he waited to Chuck got there ana when he finally saw his daddy and knew he saw us all he started dying process then . He went to rainbow bridge . It was so unexpected and so traumatizing for me. Dawana Dumas and Tracey Jones I’ll never forget yall coming to ER to comfort us and help us with final arrangements for him. To everyone who donated that day for all the major cost . We will never foefer you ! Or the angel crew .and what everyone across the world and other 6 diff countries that supported us . We will never forgot. I’m so happy we got to bring joy to over 1300 animals with cancer , police dogs , military dogs and even the famous pig Esther . Some cats along the way also we have helped so many diff animals on community and across the world . We helped every rescue in north alabama and most shelters . Do I miss it , yes I do. Due to health reason , stress and trauma . I had to close. I still try and remember to post some still on that page but not much. I love you all my angels. Yes you are still all my angels
