Homework that actually matters.
At a high school in Virginia, students are doing more than learning how engines work. Through an automotive technology program, they spend their school days repairing and restoring donated cars, knowing each one has a purpose far beyond the classroom.
Once the vehicles are safe and road ready, the students donate them free of charge to single mothers who desperately need reliable transportation. For many families, a working car means keeping a job, getting kids to school, and making it to medical appointments without constant stress.
