HEADS UP!! Hometown Urgent Care will be closed Sunday May 3rd for my youngest grand child Ada’s 3rd birthday. We will also be closed on Wednesday May 6th so I can travel to Greenville and watch my daughter be pinned with her nursing pin. She graduated and she will make a wonderful nurse!! Nursing is hard, yet so rewarding everyday!! In my 35 years, I have had tears, smiles, heartache and some of the most rewarding memories I could have ever imagined. Running a busy urgent care is hard!! You get called names (my favorite is a Christian narcissist) Yes, I pay attention to comments!! You try to take care of all the patients, some that don’t have good outcomes and every single one stays with me. I have a staff that I love whether they love me or not!! I have slowly begun to learn that you can’t please everyone, you can just try to do your best everyday! I have spent 35 years dedicated to my profession and 15 years having my own clinic 7 days a week. Dedication or crazy… not quite sure. I have to start taking a little time for my children and grandchildren so I don’t miss out on everything. I will be back bright and early Monday morning and will continue my dream job as long as the lord will allow!! Love you Hartsville and surrounding areas!!! Please share this post so no one thinks I have quit!!
