It's almost time!

If you've been hesitant to try out our classes, our Open House is the perfect time to try!
For the entire first week of June, ALL classes at Empower are going to be totally free! (Spaces are limited, so you'll want to book the classes you can come to once sign ups open up! )
This is a great time to meet our amazing instructors, try out various class formats, and find what works in your personal schedule completely FREE with NO expectations or requirements!

I hear this one A LOT. I read a great quote once that saying you're not flexible enough to do yoga is like saying you're too dirty to take a bath.

The truth is, flexibility isn't a requirement for yoga. It's what I consider a great side effect from regularly practicing yoga, and is honestly just a small piece of what yoga offers.

People don't keep coming back to yoga because they can touch their toes. They come because they’re overwhelmed, stiff, tired, anxious, or just need a moment to breathe.

Yoga gives you tools to:
• slow your breath and calm your nervous system
• build awareness of how your body actually feels
• ease the tension you’ve been carrying without realizing it
• support better sleep, digestion, and overall stress regulation
• improve strength, stability, and balance (which becomes more important every year)

And yes, over time, it can help you move more freely and comfortably in your body.

But the goal isn’t to force yourself into some ideal shape or pose. Rather, it's to meet yourself where you are and create space for the change you're looking for to happen naturally.

If you’ve been telling yourself you’re “not flexible enough,” you’re actually the PERFECT person to start.

You don’t need to be ready. You just need to show up.

Here’s our weekly class menu when you aren’t sure which is right for you!

Our classes are built to meet you where you are and support body mind balance at every level
GENTLE YOGA: A soothing space for beginners or seasoned yogis to unwind. Posture and breath work welcome deep ease and a sense of grounded renewal.
SLOW FLOW YOGA: Slow transitions with lengthened holds that help release muscle tension and quiet the mind through breath led movement.
BARRE STRONG: Low impact pulses at the barre followed by wall Pilates and/or slow strength training to engage stamina, flexibility, and lean muscle while supporting metabolism.
YOGILATES: Pilate's incredible toning meets yoga's mobility, flexibility, and mindfulness. This class is so much fun, and post class empowerment is guaranteed!
SUPPORTED STRENGTH & BALANCE: Improve your mobility, strength, and balance while using support for connection and comfort. Find confidence while exploring movement in new ways.
FREE YOUR BODY: Move your body. Clear your mind. Explore release, joy, stillness, and strength through music and freeform movement. no dance experience needed.

Now that I am driving in from Madison County on Saturday mornings to teach our 9 AM, slow flow, I wanted to make you all aware of them changes in booking class.

If no one has signed up for slow flow by 7 AM, class will be canceled. If it is after 7:30 AM and you see Saturday class available to book, that means students have booked the class and it is still on! Feel free to drop in or sign up!

If you go to sign up for slow flow on Saturday morning and it is not on the schedule, that means no one has signed up for the class and it canceled at 7:30 AM.
