Daily movement looks a little different for everyone.
For many adults, 6,000โ€“8,000 steps a day can support good health โ€” but for others, short walks, balance work, or strength exercises may be a better fit.

The goal isnโ€™t perfectionโ€”itโ€™s progress. Safe, consistent movement supports strength, balance, heart health, and independence at every age.

St. Aloisius is proud to announce the opening of ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, with appointments beginning ๐‰๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐ญ๐ก, a new outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of older adults (typically 65 and older) who are experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.

Anyone can make a referral to the program. This includes family members, physicians, nurses, or other healthcare professionals, and self-referrals.

The ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed therapists, a registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of the older adults in our community.
