Our CNA Program through Lake Region State College is an AWESOME opportunity right here in our community! 🙌

This hybrid program allows students to complete the theory portion online first, then finish hands-on skills and clinical training here with us. It’s a great fit for busy schedules and helps make healthcare training more accessible in rural communities.

So what is a CNA? 🤔
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are compassionate caregivers who help residents and patients with daily care needs, comfort, mobility, meals, bathing, and so much more. CNAs are truly the heart of patient care and often build meaningful relationships with those they care for. ❤️

We especially have a BIG need in our Long Term Care department for caring, dependable individuals who are looking for a long-term career in healthcare.

• June 1 – June 28, 2026
• June 29 – July 26, 2026

More classes will be released later!

Interested in becoming part of our team? Applicants interested in hospital-sponsored CNA training must apply for employment and complete onboarding as an employee with SMP Health – St. Aloisius before being sent through the program. We are looking for dedicated individuals who want to grow with us long term. 💙

Today we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

At SMP Health – St. Aloisius, our mission is rooted in compassion, service, and caring for others — values we are reminded of especially today. As we care for our community, we also honor those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy.

🌼 BIG things are happening at our Long Term Care! 🌼

We are incredibly excited and proud to share that our Long Term Care was selected to be featured by the YouTube channel “People Worth Caring About”! 💙

Recording will take place on Wednesday, May 27th, and we are honored to have the opportunity to showcase the amazing residents, staff, and community that make this place so special.

This channel highlights meaningful stories, compassionate care, and the people who make a difference every day. We’ll share one of their videos below so you can see the type of uplifting content they create, even though the featured video is not from our facility.

As we get ready for the visit, we would love a little help making our outdoor spaces shine! 🌿☀️

We are currently looking volunteers for:
✨ Short-term help before May 27th with pulling weeds, tidying flower beds, and freshening up garden areas
✨ Long-term summer help from individuals or groups willing to occasionally help maintain a small area

Our residents truly enjoy these outdoor spaces during the summer months, and every little bit of help makes a difference. Even 30 minutes can go a long way!

Please feel free to share this with churches, youth groups, community organizations, families, or anyone looking for a meaningful way to help.
