🎉 Exciting News for Harvey! 🎉

We’re proud to announce that the Operating Room at SMP Health – St. Aloisius has been awarded a $28,500 grant through the 2025 OBT Community Responsive Fund, administered by the North Dakota Community Foundation.

This fund supports local organizations that directly respond to community needs, with a focus on health, children, literacy, and vital capital projects. Our grant falls under the category of capital projects for hospitals and clinics—helping us maintain facilities and invest in equipment that keeps quality healthcare close to home.

We’re grateful to the Otto Bremer Trust and NDCF for recognizing the importance of rural healthcare and for supporting St. Aloisius as we continue to serve Harvey and surrounding communities with compassionate, faith-based care.

Today was a good day for an adventure and residents and staff from LTC did just that!

Some of our gentlemen and staff braved the chilly day and spent a few hours at the Drake Threshing Show. We were happy to have some family members meet us there to enjoy the outing. We seen the parade, the steam tractor & saw mill demonstration, blacksmith shop, heard some music, walked around the grounds a bit, and got a taste of some delicious fry bread with cinnamon sugar.

The folks at the Drake Threshing Association put on a wonderful weekend and we were happy to get to attend for a bit today 😀
