SUCCESS STORY!

DCFS is firm. It does not compromise the safety of children, regardless of whose ox is gored. Such was the mishap that inevitated "T" to become the ward of the state. Mom's regaining custody was conditioned to meeting several and almost difficult conditions including completion of parenting and anger management classes. These DCFS conditions were wrapped up with court mandate seems unachievable to the already helpless mother. However, situations changed when she was referred to NCII for therapeutic assistance. Thanks to the team of competent professionals under the leadership of Ehis, LPC who in collaboration with the collateral developed a client centered treatment plan. The task was not easy, but with the trio collaboration and determination to succeed, few years after engagement, the young girl who has been a ward of the state for over 15 years was successfully weaned off the DCFS custody and reunited with her mother.

SUCCESS STORY 🎓

Once upon a gentle man whose life took a turn against him. Circumstances beyond his control crumbled his sanity and became helplessly hopeless; until he was referred to New Choice Intervention, Inc few years back. David made a decision to fight for the last time. This time, he was emboldened with the confluence of appropriate mental health services and support that he receives from the NCII agency. Special thanks to his therapist - Ms. Latasha and other PSR facilitators. Today, David has won the battle. He has evolved a new man. He manages himself appropriately ditto his mental wellness and lives independently. He pursued and achieved his life long ambition of becoming a commercial truck driver. He sat for, passed and obtained his CDL; and presently gainfully employed as a Commercial Driver in the State of Illinois.
Congratulations to you dear David. Keep soaring higher. You can do it, and much more. We love you.

Therapy works: A courtesy visit to New Choice Intervention, Inc by old members. Their success stories are impressive. They have archived what to them seems unattainable few years ago. But with determination and focus to conquer their challenges, today, they have re-written their stories and are no longer in captivity of their past.
