The dawn of a new year invites us to begin again. ☀️
In Kripalu Yoga, we begin again not by striving for perfection, but by showing up — just as we are — with openness, compassion, and trust in the light within us. ✨
As we enter the new year, let’s practice together - welcoming hope, steadiness, and renewal through mindful movement and breath.
Classes resume tomorrow and are offered hybrid at 9am most Saturdays at the Yoga Loft in Chatham. All are welcome.

“The beauty of life is not knowing.” ~Pema Chödrön
Travel reminds me of this truth — no matter how much we read or prepare, there are always layers of meaning and mystery that can only be felt once we arrive.
Yoga is the same. Each time we step onto the mat, we practice being open — curious rather than certain, present rather than perfect.
This week I’m reminded again of life’s impermanence and mystery, as I travel to honor a loved one.
As a result our, Kripalu Yoga classes will resume Saturday, November 1 at 9am.
Until then may we meet this season — and ourselves — with openness, curiosity, and compassion. ✨

✨ Though summer mornings on Red River Beach have shifted into memory, our yoga community continues to move, breathe, and grow together. ✨
I’m so grateful for everyone who joined practice this season—whether on the sand, indoors, or online. Together, we raised $1,452 for the Lupus Foundation of America through our classes. Your support helps advance research, education, and care for those living with lupus—thank you for being part of this impact. 💜
Our Saturday morning hybrid classes at the CSJ Yoga Loft continue at 9am. In person or via Zoom, it’s a beautiful way to stay connected as the seasons turn. I’d love to see you there. 🙏

This Yoga Awareness Month, I’m proud to see the Lupus Foundation of America highlighting the benefits of yoga for people living with lupus. 💜
As both a certified yoga instructor and someone fundraising for this cause, I know how powerful movement and mindfulness can be in finding strength and balance.
Later this month, I’ll be walking to create awareness about this disease and fundraising to support the mission. If you’d like to join me in making a difference, please consider making a donation to my team’s Walk to End Lupus Now fundraising campaign. Link below. 🙏
👉 And be sure to check out the inspiring blog shared by in their bio, featuring how yoga supports those living with lupus.

Padma Mudra, the lotus gesture, is held at the heart center as a symbol of love, openness, and compassion. 🌸
The lotus grows from the mud, yet blossoms clean and bright — reminding us of our own ability to rise above challenges and bloom into our own light.
