Thank you to everyone who made our 11th Annual Cancer Survivors Day such a success!

The uplifting evening last Thursday at the Hyport Conference Center in Hyannis welcomed more than 100 survivors and their guests, along with our oncology team, for a night of inspiration, relaxation and connection. Two patients shared their powerful healthcare journeys, offering moving reminders of the strength and resilience at the heart of survivorship.

Guests also enjoyed interactive booths featuring reiki massage, pet therapy dogs, a photo booth, journaling and painting activities, support group resources, and a raffle with 75 thoughtfully curated baskets generously donated by Cape Cod Healthcare departments.

We are so grateful for your continued support of Cancer Survivors Day—and we’re already looking forward to next year’s community gathering!

— As the busy season winds down, Cape Codders embrace “local summer”—a quieter time to enjoy the natural beauty right in our backyard. This month’s photos, taken at the Massachusetts Audubon Society’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking Sandy Neck, are a reminder to slow down, get outside and soak in the restorative benefits of nature.

Spending time outdoors—whether walking a trail, breathing in the crisp fall air or simply pausing to admire the view—supports both mental and physical health. This fall, make it a priority to take a mindful walk and let Cape Cod’s natural landscapes help recharge your well-being.
