🔎 In this week’s , we’re back with Part 2 of measuring a show jump — and busting one of the most common misconceptions I hear in our sport. 🐴✨

A lot of riders believe a fence is measured to the hole on the jump standard… but that’s actually not the case. In the video, I’m breaking down how jump height is truly measured — to the top of the pole or plank, not the cup or the hole it’s set in. It may seem like a small detail, but understanding the difference can completely change how accurately you’re setting your fences at home.

When we train with the right information, we build confidence, consistency, and trust —both for ourselves and our horses. The little details matter, and this is one of those details that can make a bigger difference than you think.

Until next time, kick on! 🩵

🔎 In this week’s , we’re kicking off Part 1 of a 2-part series all about how to properly measure a show jump — because understanding what’s actually in front of you matters more than most riders realize. 🐴✨

In this video, I’m walking you through the basics of measuring a fence, how I check jump height in my own training, and why taking the guesswork out of your setup can make such a big difference for both horse and rider. Whether you’re building confidence at home, preparing to move up a level, or just wanting to train more intentionally, knowing your numbers matters.

There’s a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to jump measurements, so I’m breaking it down step by step. And trust me… in Part 2, we’re diving into one of the most common misconceptions I hear all the time when it comes to measuring fence height. 👀

Until next time, kick on! 🩵
