Dear Lisa,
It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed since we so unexpectedly said goodbye to you. Not a day goes by that we don’t feel your absence here at The Drug Store...even though at the same time, we feel your presence in everything we do.
Our customers miss you...they've told us so, many times over. You had a way of caring for people that couldn’t be taught. You anticipated needs instead of simply responding to them.
We remember your laugh, your smile, and the way you made everyone feel seen...whether it was in a positive way or otherwise, depending on the situation 😆 You carried so many roles in life; beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and we were blessed to know you in our own way as part of our work family. Nathan may have been "the boss" in name, but everyone knew who really ran things in the pharmacy ❤️ And oh, how you would have had an opinion about all this new growth and change in Haskell! But you've been watching it unfold, no doubt.
There are still moments when we expect to see you walk through the door or hear your voice in the middle of a busy day. And in a way, you’re still here; in the way we care for our patients, in the way we treat each other, and in the memories that come flooding back when we least expect them.
Lisa, you left a mark on this place that will never fade. Your kindness continues to ripple through the lives you touched, and we carry your memory with us every single day.
We miss you something fierce, but we are so grateful and blessed for the time we had with you. As we've said before, we aren't moving on, just moving forward. Our goal every day is to make you proud.
We know you are in Heaven, dancing with your dad. And we can't wait to see you again.
We love you, Lisa.
Your Drug Store family ❤️
