Good morning! I wanted to share some pictures of our beautiful mother, Juanita Hakul. She joined her husband, her parents, Felipa and Santiago Sendejas, her siblings and her grandson in heaven this past January. She is dearly missed every single day, but we rejoice that she is healed and made whole in Jesus’ name. We know she is happy to be with her mom again and we look forward to the day we are all reunited. 💗

Juanita Hakul
Sep 10, 1951 - Jan 13, 2022

Juanita Flores Hakul was born September 10, 1951, in Uvalde, TX, to Antonio Flores and Felipa H. Sendejas. She was one of eleven children, married to Charles “Chuck” Hakul, and dedicated her life to serving Christ.

Juanita led services alongside her mother at La Nueva Jerusalem as an evangelist and later preached at multiple churches across the country. She continued to be a pillar of strength and the matriarch for her loved ones until her passing on January 13, 2022, in Garland, TX.

She is survived by her children: Jesse Aguilar (Sandra), Teresa Hill (JD), Monica Hernandez, Andrew Aguilar (Angela) and Lillian Weaver (Brent); grandchildren: Ashley, Christian, Justin, Aaron, Adam, Abram, Alex, Adrienne, Krista, Lauren, Breanna, Rowen and Judson; seven great-grandchildren; sister: Erma Saracho; brothers: Ignacio "Dido" Sendejas, Al Flores and Jimmy Sendejas; and other extended family and friends.

Juanita should always be remembered by her love for Christ, the never-ending love she had for her mother and the unconditional love she held for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

"For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."
II Timothy 4:6-8

Hola familia! Let’s all join together to say a prayer and send well wishes to prima, Ester Cantu. She in the hospital and having a hard time. As the bible says, "with God all things are possible." ... Loving God, we pray that you will comfort Ester in her suffering, lend skill to the hands of the healers, and bless the means used for her cure. Please be near Ester and the family in the time of weakness and pain; sustain us all by your grace, that strength and courage may not fail; heal according to your will; and help us always to believe that what happens here is of little account to what waits for us in eternal life, Amen.

Sending hugs, prayers and well wishes to our family, the Cantu family ❤️

This made me giggle!! Thanks Dena! 😂

The Veterans in our family are so important to us and we love and appreciate you all!!

At each reunion, we meet new family members and discover that we have more family members in the military. Therefore, we will be updating the Veteran’s Slideshow for the next reunion and will add them in.

Please let me know if there is anyone inadvertently left off the slideshow and we would love to include them!!

Thank you Glenn and Chris for your service! Welcome home soldiers!
