Looking for a fun and active opportunity for your kids this summer? 🏃

Our Youth Track Program is designed to introduce kids to the sport of track and field in a positive and supportive environment! Participants will gain experience in events such as sprints, long distance (up to 1600 meters), throws, and long jump.

We’re excited to welcome our new Wellness Director to the YMCA team! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Nicole!

"Hi! I’m Nicole Samuelson, the new Wellness Director at the YMCA. I’m originally from Hardin, Montana, and attended community college in Montana, where I played college volleyball before moving to Hastings to continue my education at Hastings College.

While living in Hastings, I met my husband, and we are now excitedly expecting our first baby this August! Staying active has always been a big part of my life. I love playing in volleyball leagues and tournaments whenever I can, and I also enjoy coaching volleyball.

I’m very passionate about people and community, and making sure everyone has access to opportunities that support a healthy and active lifestyle. The YMCA has always been a place that represents those values. I loved being able to work out there and participate in the leagues offered to the community, so I’m incredibly excited to now be part of the team and give back to a place that means so much."

⚾ YMCA Tee Ball League – Registration is Open!
Introduce your little slugger to the game of baseball! Our Tee Ball League is designed for boys and girls ages 3–5 who are ready to learn the basics of the game in a fun and supportive environment.

This league combines practice and a simplified game into a one-hour session where players bat through the order and begin learning the rules of baseball while building coordination and confidence.

📅 Season: June 1–29, 2026
📍 When: Monday & Wednesday evenings
⚾ Format: Practice + game combined into one hour

Players will hit strictly off a tee, helping them develop the coordination and confidence needed before moving into Rookie League through Hastings Baseball. This program is the perfect first step into youth baseball!
