Wise Family Funeral Home & Crematory The Wise Family Funeral Home started in 1955 when the Donald Ellis family opened the funeral home on the corner of 15th and Vermillion.

They operated there for 7 years, then continued business in a new building on 4th and Spring. Thomas Ellis, the son of Don and Peach, took over the family business in 1984, where he ran it as Thomas Ellis Funeral Home. In 2001, Thomas retired from the funeral business when he sold the funeral home to Michael and Mary Wise. Michael was born & raised in Hastings by Dick & Darliss Wise. He and his wi

fe Mary currently own and operate the business as Wise Family Funeral & Cremation Services. At Wise Family Funeral Home, you are family.
