We have two more days of model scans this month!

Are you pregnant, 13 weeks 6 days along or less, and interested in making a difference? Alpha Women’s Center of Barry County is looking for ultrasound models!

We are excited to be expanding our services here to be able to offer pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasounds to the moms and families we serve.

Volunteering to be a model is a wonderful opportunity to receive a free ultrasound and see your little one while helping us provide hands-on training for our staff.

Spots are limited, so don’t wait! Plan for the appointment to take about an hour, as these ultrasound appointments are training appointments with an RDMS and an RN. Appointments are completely confidential.

A huge THANK YOU to First Presbyterian Church for their donation of diapers that completely overwhelmed us (in the best way!!). We received 2,776 diapers and pull-ups, in the exact sizes we have needed. We are feeling very blessed by our community today!

**In search of: antique or vintage-looking books!**
Our banquet is children's story-themed this year, and we are on the lookout for vintage/antique style books. They do not need to be actual antiques, just older, well-loved books are great!

If you have any to share with us, please drop them off during our open hours (Tuesdays 2-5pm, Wednesdays 10-2pm, Thursdays 5-8pm), or email our director (Rachel.bailey@alphabarrycounty.org) to arrange a pick up.

A HUGE thank you to two generous donors this month!

1. Dollar Tree of Hastings donated 314 items (hygiene, baby items, etc). This is huge for us!

2. Moline CRC donated over 100 packs of wipes, HUNDREDS of diapers, brand new sleepers, blankets, and more!

It's beautiful to see how our community provides when we need things most - we were just running out of some essential items like toothbrushes, soaps, wipes and sleepers, and looks what showed up. 🤍
