This month, we are proud to celebrate Dr. Eric Slapnicher’s 23rd anniversary with Rivertown Eye Care.

Born and raised in Hastings, Dr. Eric began his journey at the University of Minnesota Duluth before earning his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During his training, he received clinical honors in Pediatrics and Low Vision and demonstrated his commitment to service by providing vision care in remote villages of Guatemala.

In 2002, Dr. Eric joined the family practice, continuing the legacy established by his father, Dr. Joe Slapnicher, in 1974. After taking over the practice, Dr. Eric has led with integrity, vision, and unwavering dedication to providing the highest standard of care for every patient.

Please join us in celebrating Dr. Eric’s 23 years of exceptional service, leadership, and commitment to the Hastings community. We look forward to many more years ahead!
