The Bible has a lot to say about how we treat our bodies.
They aren’t just flesh and bone—they are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19–20). God designed us with intention, bought us with a price, and calls us to honor Him through the way we live, move, and care for ourselves.
Caring for our health isn’t about vanity, but about stewardship. Romans 12:1 reminds us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. Every meal we eat, every choice we make, every word we speak about ourselves, even the way we rest can be done to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).
Paul also speaks of discipline—training his body so that he can run his race faithfully (1 Cor. 9:27). Discipline doesn’t just build strength; it shapes us into people who can better serve the Lord and others. And even rest, commanded in the Sabbath (Ex. 20:8–10), is a way of honoring God by trusting Him with our time and allowing our bodies to restore.
When we care for ourselves, we are equipped to love others more fully (Phil. 2:4). Health is not an end goal—it is a vessel for worship, service, and obedience.
💚 Let’s begin to see wellness not as a worldly pursuit, but as a spiritual act. The way we nourish, move, and restore our bodies is one more way to live in alignment with the One who created us.
Our team makes it a point to understand that we are not the "healers" - we will NOT "fix" you. But God, the true Physician, will. All glory to God.
