On April 16, National Healthcare Decisions Day, we are reminded that every person deserves a voice in their healthcare journey. For peace of mind, especially in times of a health crisis, it is important that an individual’s healthcare wishes are known. Empower yourself and your family with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about your healthcare. Benedictine has resources available on its website to help make a plan. It doesn’t start with a diagnosis.
It starts with small moments.

A repeated question. A forgotten name. A pause that feels different.

And for many families in Hastings, those moments turn into something bigger: uncertainty, stress, and the quiet question: Am I doing this right?
You are not alone in that.
That’s why we’re hosting a free community presentation:
🗓 April 23 | 2:30–3:30 p.m.
📍 Benedictine Living Community–Regina

Led by a Dementia Friends Champion, Colleen Fritsch this one-hour session gives real, practical ways to support someone you love, because even small changes in how we respond can make a meaningful difference.

We are committed to serving everyone of any denomination in a friendly environment with a true sense of community.

Our System: We’re headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota. The Benedictine Health System is sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery. As one of the largest Catholic senior care organizations in the United States, we have approximately 30 senior care communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Our Mission and Values: Based on the Gospel and Chapter 36 of the Rule of St. Benedict, our Mission and Values direct our compassionate care. Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice, our Benedictine Core Values, guide us every day as we deliver senior housing and senior care. Regina Senior Living, faithful to its Christian tradition of respect for human life, promotes the health of the whole person. We witness to God’s love by creating compassionate communities providing support to those we serve to live fully and live well with special concern for the underserved and those in need.
