At Hastings Family Dental Care we strive to provide exceptional patient care and this requires utilizing high quality instruments that are well maintained. Daily sharpening, use, and sterilization take a toll on those instruments. In our efforts to be patient focused and environmentally conscious we participate in an instrument recycling program with manufacturer HuFriedy.

The HuFriedy Group partners with responsible third-party metal scrap recyclers that give our recyclable instruments a new life in critical items such as bridges, vehicle parts, and street lights. The recyclers also responsibly dispose of any items that are not recyclable.

Hastings Family dental Care will be closed June 30th through July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

At Hastings Family Dental Care, we make your health a priority. As dental professionals this may seem obvious but we care about health beyond teeth and gums. In recent years we implemented the use of air purification. In each treatment room we have placed a RabbitAir Minus A2 Air Purifier. The technology utilizes a 6-step filtration process which includes BioGS HEPA, charcoal-based activated carbon, germ defense, toxin and odor filtration. The units are quiet with smart sensors that activate within moments of airborne substance detection. The air our staff and patients breath is continuously monitored and cleaned before, during and after every appointment. And we didn't stop there. We also have a UV light installed in our HVAC system to neutralize bacteria and viruses, providing fresh air throughout the office. At Hastings Family Dental Care you can breathe easy, we've got it covered. 🙂

The HFDC team cares about the whole person. We review health history, medications, nutrition, activity, blood pressure and other areas of life that may be impacting your health. We know that patients have busy lives and it's easy to forget to take care of personal health.
