Central Nebraska Children & Adolescent patient families will be receiving letters soon to notify them of the December 29 closure of our Grand Island office. Families are invited to make appointments at our Hastings office at 402-463-6828. Dr. Shade Whalen and Lauren Mayfield, APRN, are joining the other providers in Hastings to serve you. Thank you for your patience as we work to make our care more focused and efficient.

When clinics change hands, insurance companies cancel their contracts with the former owners.
Some of our patients may have received letters from your insurance stating that the Children & Adolescent Clinic is now out of network. But this is just because of the change of ownership. The Central Nebraska Children & Adolescent Clinic, owned by Mary Lanning Healthcare, is in network.
Confusing? You bet! We are sorry for this inconvenience and we want to set the record straight.
