Last night, 24 years ago, the innocent went to sleep.

246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.

2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for going to work the next morning.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

It was the last day that fathers and mothers hugged their children, husbands, wives and those with significant others kissed them and told them they were loved.

None of these people saw past 10:00 AM EST on September 11, 2001.

These people’s lives were ended by the forces of evil.

Tonight, before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love and tell them that you love them. Say your prayers and never take one second of your life for granted.

It has been said that for evil men to accomplish their purpose, it is only necessary that good men should do nothing.

May our society never descend into an abyss where we allow forces of evil to prevail. Long live our Constitutional Republic.

America suffered a great loss yesterday.

Mr. Charlie Kirk, a husband, father, Christian and patriot, was assassinated for sharing his biblically-based beliefs with America’s youth.

His purpose was to educate and inspire people to live their best lives and to help them avoid a life of sin, purposelessness and regret.

We mourn him, pray for his family, and pray that our country would be spared the sin and misery of the evil that opposes the values, freedoms and opportunities that make America the shining city upon a hill.

“…Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” - John 11:25-26
