Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Mr. Randy Wayne Cuevas!
Randy is a native of Siquijor, Philippines and has a passion for caregiving. He has been a CNA with us for the last eleven months and it's apparent he enjoys his work and does it well!
Randy is a proud dog dad to his Rottweiler Remy and loves to spend his free time with his girlfriend.
He loves to paint objects around his house when the mood strikes, and he can hold his breath for a whole minute!

Thank you Randy, for everything you do for our residents!

With temperatures climbing higher this summer, it's imperative to stay cool and know the signs of overheating. Those aged 55 and above are more vulnerable in the heat and must pay close attention to their body while working outside.

Ms. Jillian Dunn has earned June Employee of the Month, voted for by our amazing residents.

Jillian has worked at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab as a CNA for the last three months and is already a resident favorite!
She chose to become a CNA because taking care of those in need is a passion of hers made apparent in how well she provides for our residents.
When she's not doting on her patients she enjoys knitting and crochet, particularly socks and sweaters.

We are so proud to have such an amazing CNA and look forward to many years with her here.

We are Hiring in our Maintenance Department, Full time and part time position. Please apply on indeed or come by the facility and fill out a paper application in Human Resources. We had a great time meeting so many wonderful people! Our incredible DON Mrs. Shay Holder stayed busy checking people's blood pressure while sharing stories and information.

A new month means a new employee to honor!

Mr. Milton Miskel has been voted May Employee of the Month!

Mr. Milton Miskel from Pascagoula, MS has worked for Hattiesburg Health and Rehab for the last ten years as our respiratory therapist, and we would be lost without him!
Milton chose this career because Christ called him to heal, and his care and compassion solidifies that this was the perfect path for him.
He has been married for 38 years and is a proud father to three children and four grandchildren.

His free time includes community service, spectator sports, family visits and reading. A little unknown fact is that he's currently writing his first book of devotion for healthcare workers.

Happy Nurses Week from all of us at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab!

Nurses are often the unsung heroes of healthcare, working tirelessly to ensure the best possible care for their patients, even in dangerous or threatening situations. We see you, we hear you and we support you.

Now we may be biased, but our nurses are THE BEST at making our residents' lives full of healing, love and compassion. We couldn't ask for better men and women to serve the residents of our facility, and we are so grateful that their paths met ours.

A HUGE thank you to all nurses out there saving lives every day. We hope this week shows how loved and appreciated you are for all that you do for the community.

Our residents have spoken! Congratulations to Ms. Gennifer Roberts, our April Employee of the Month!

Ms. Roberts has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 7 years and has been with us the last two and half years. She chose to become a CNA because she is devoted to showing love and compassion to those unable to care for themselves.
Ms. Roberts is a proud mother to three beautiful children and enjoys spending time with them and the rest of her family.
Fun fact about Ms. Roberts, she actually has a twin brother! In her free time her favorite activities are playing at water parks and planning outings with her children.

We are so blessed to have such a kind and compassionate soul taking care of our residents and it's apparent they can feel the love you have for them.

Thank you Gennifer Roberts for being the incredible person you are!

Our residents had a great time during our Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday. We had great music, beads and king cake for everyone!
