We have had an old fashioned DINNER ON THE GROUNDS today! Special thanks to Danette and Skip Bean for coordinating everything! A big ole thanks to some super great cooks from Temple Baptist Church and Oak Grove World Methodist! We had so much wonderful food and were able to send what was left to the FIELD HOUSE mission. I’d also like to thank THE MAGNOLIA GRILL for some of the best homemade banana pudding I’ve ever had!! Nothing taste as good as fresh Mississippi vegetables!! Our hearts and bellies are full!! Thanks yall!!

We have had a FABULOUS MONDAY @ MOVIE STAR RESTAURANT!!!Special thanks to the dear folks at Improve Baptist for helping make a BIG Resident wish come to fruition! Thanks too, to the wonderful staff at Movie Star for making sure we had first rate accommodations. We all had a wonderful time… and meal! We are already looking forward to our next outing!

Our Residents enjoyed their second Secret Surprise of the summer this morning! Sophia and Kara Roller presented a full dance recital featuring some of their favorite competition dances! To say we enjoyed it is an understatement! The girls are beautiful, smart and VERY gifted dancers! They showcased their many years of dance training beautifully! Their grandmother, Juanee Pearson has been one of our Residents for the last few years. Juanee recently went on to be with the Lord, but was obviously watching over her girls today. It was a sweet way to remember their grandmother who was so very proud of them! Thanks Sophia and Kara! Job well done!!

We kicked off our first event of SUMMER SURPRISES today! Thanks to the sweet folks from Improve Baptist Church for providing us with an afternoon full of ice cream, baked goodies, and FELLOWSHIP! Also thanks to Rodger Banes for coming to play for us! It’s been a really sweet afternoon! Fellowship and connections are so important to us here at Bellevue!
