Elfis decided to get in a little climbing for exercise today to help with some seasonal stress. Elfis knows holidays are often the hardest times for survivors of trauma. So many issues such as sensory overload from crowded social gatherings and loud holiday music or just the social pressure to appear joyful and jolly can take an emotional or even physical toll. It’s
important for survivors to take time out for themselves to de-stress when overwhelmed. Having a trusted person along to help with tense situations or taking time for stress-relieving activities like exercise can help survivors enjoy the holidays.
