Dr. Roberson has extensive training to provide you sophisticated, safe and effective IV Sedation. He is an instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Our Story

For Dr. John Roberson, DMD, a career path in oral surgery could only lead to one place: home. As a Hattiesburg native, Dr. Roberson has always wanted to provide Hattiesburg patients with the very best in oral and facial care. “Hattiesburg has always been there for me, and, for the past two decades, I’ve been able to give back to this place in my own way.”

Dr. Roberson’s vision for Midtown Oral & Facial Surgery, previously known as Oral Surgery Center, began with a desire to bring the very best in oral and facial surgical techniques to families in the Hattiesburg area. After completing his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center—where his training included dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia, implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, TMJ, oral medicine & pathology, cleft lip & palate surgery, facial cosmetic surgery and skin rejuvenation—Dr. Roberson started his practice in Hattiesburg. “The most rewarding aspect of establishing this practice has been caring for different generations,” Dr. Roberson said. “People trust our team with their children’s wisdom teeth. They trust our team with their own faces.”

Now, with the addition of Dr. Brian Jackson to the Midtown Oral & Facial Surgery team, Dr. Roberson is confident that patients will receive premier care from surgeons who go beyond the bottom line. “Dr. Jackson and I are invested in the Hattiesburg community,” Dr. Roberson said. “We’re not just your surgeons; we’re also the guys you see at church, at the supermarket, and in your neighborhood.
