Owner, Kelsea Weldon and Tonya Donald, owner of The Abigayle Adult Day Center-Hattiesburg, traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to attend Rock Steady Boxing’s Head Coaching Certification Class at Parkinson’s Dynamics!

More than 90,000 people each year are diagnosed with Parkinson’s each year and Rock Steady Boxing is fighting back! 🥊

Rock Steady Boxing is an “evidence based fitness curriculum designed to impact the symptoms and slow the progression of Parkinson’s Disease.”

We are so excited to be teaming up together along side Anatomies to bring Rock Steady Boxing along with other Parkinson’s resources to our community!

Come join us on Tuesday August 26th at 5:30 at The Abigayle Adult Day Center for our first Parkinson’s Support Group and come learn about all that we have planned for our community!

Amabelle has been with our Senior Helpers family since December 2024! She came to us with seven years of experience in Human Resources including recruiting, benefits management, and more.

Amabelle enjoys working for Senior Helpers because of her love for the senior population, which began when she was a child. Amabelle was born and raised in Zambales, Philippines in an extended family and grew up especially close to her grandmother, who became her best friend and constant source of love and support.

Amabelle’s hard work, focus to detail, and collaboration make her a wonderful asset to our team! Whether she is helping with job postings, screening applicants, scheduling in person interviews, or assisting with our on boarding process, she is always ready to help serve the Senior Helpers mission!
