On Wednesday morning, Pearl River Valley Opportunity, Inc. (PRVO) had the exciting opportunity to be featured on WDAM to share information about our upcoming Head Start/Early Head Start Fatherhood Conference! 🎙️📺

Our team members, Mr. Derrick Robinson, Health/Disability/Mental Health Coordinator, and Mr. Earnest Thompson, Center Administrator at the John Hales Early Head Start Center, represented PRVO with excellence as they discussed the importance of father engagement and what attendees can expect at this year’s event.

Chalybeate Head Start enjoyed a fun visit yesterday from a real-life fireman! 🚒👨‍🚒 Fireman Chris came to visit the children and teach them all about what he does!

The children learned important fire safety skills 🔥🧯, what to do in a fire emergency, and all the parts of a fireman's uniform. Fireman Chris talked to the children about how even though some kids get nervous seeing their uniforms, they are always there to help. ❤️

This was a wonderful interactive visit, and the kids even got to take home their own fireman hat! 🎩🔥😊
