Our Independent Living residents at The Claiborne at Hattiesburg are coming together to support Lamar Christian School after the school sustained damage in the recent Purvis tornado.

Not long ago, students from LCS volunteered at The Claiborne at Hattiesburg, bringing kindness and joy to our residents. Now, our residents are proud to return the favor by collecting donations for the school community.

We are grateful for this special connection and are keeping the students, families, faculty, and staff of Lamar Christian School in our thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts are with our Mississippi neighbors after last night’s tornadoes. To those who have lost so much in just a few hours, please know we are thinking of you, and we want to help.

The Claiborne at Hattiesburg has immediate availability for adults 55 and older in our independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments. We're offering short-term stays (starting at 30 days, with the option to extend) so people have a safe, comfortable place to land while they figure out what comes next. Residents staying with us will have full access to our community amenities, meals, and care services. Furnished apartments are available for an additional fee.
