Safe sleep isn’t complicated—it’s as easy as A-B-C! "A" is for Alone. "B" is for Back. "C" is for Crib. When it’s time for bed, keep your infant on a firm sleep surface, without toys, pillows, or blankets, and always on its back. Room sharing is encouraged, but bed sharing is not. Have questions? We’re here to help. Call us anytime at (601) 579-3000.

Ever wonder what that little chest scanner is at your baby’s checkup?
It’s a transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) meter. A quick, gentle tool we use to check your baby’s risk for jaundice.
Totally painless. Super important.
Swipe to learn what bilirubin is, how we check it and why it matters.

Teething? Already?!
Yep, it sneaks up fast. If your baby is suddenly extra drooly or fussy, teething could be to blame.
Here are a few common signs:
– Mild fussiness
– Lots of drool
– Slight temperature rise (under 101ºF)
– Swollen, tender gums
Need some relief tips? Try:
– A chilled, damp washcloth
– Frozen banana or berries (if solid foods are okay)
– Solid (not liquid-filled) teething rings from the fridge

Nothing hits like the exhaustion of new parenthood. 2 a.m. feedings? 4 a.m. upset tummies? That's a fog that will follow you all day.
This stage is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone.
Fevers don’t wait for business hours, do they? It's okay, neither do we.
We know working parents can’t always break away from their 9 to 5. That’s why The Pediatric Clinic offers after-hours and weekend care options, so your child gets the care they need, when they need it.
Call (601) 579-3000 to secure your after-hours or weekend visit.
