Fatigue. Joint pain. Brain fog. Digestive issues.
These symptoms often have one thing in common: chronic inflammation.

Instead of masking symptoms, naturopathic care focuses on:
• Identifying inflammatory triggers
• Supporting gut and immune health
• Using nutrition, herbs, and lifestyle changes to calm the body

Minerals play a crucial role in many body functions.

• stress sensitivity

Modern diets and chronic stress can deplete key minerals.

Supporting mineral balance can help the body function more efficiently.

Your nervous system is constantly responding to the world around you.

These responses help your body stay safe and regulated:

Fight – Your body prepares to confront a threat. You may feel anger, tension, or increased heart rate.

Flight – Your body prepares to escape. This can show up as anxiety, restlessness, or feeling overwhelmed.

Freeze – Your body shuts down to protect itself. You may feel numb, stuck, or mentally foggy.

Fawn – Your body tries to stay safe by pleasing others or avoiding conflict.

Understanding these responses can help you recognize when your body is under stress and begin supporting your nervous system.

At Wildflower Wellness, we focus on helping the body return to a state of balance and regulation.

Still reacting to foods even when you’re “eating clean”?

It may not be the food. It may be histamine.

Signs of histamine overload can include:
• Headaches or migraines
• Flushing
• Hives or itching
• Anxiety after meals
• Digestive discomfort
• Worsening seasonal allergies

Histamine intolerance often ties back to gut health, liver function, and nutrient deficiencies.

Instead of eliminating everything — let’s investigate why your body isn’t clearing histamine efficiently.

Root cause > restriction. 🌿

Fatigue isn’t always about sleep.

Muscle cramps.
Anxiety.
Sugar cravings.
Headaches.
Heart palpitations.

These can sometimes be signs of mineral depletion — especially magnesium, potassium, or trace minerals.

Modern soil depletion + chronic stress + medications can quietly drain your mineral stores.

Functional testing can help uncover what your body is missing — so we can replenish with intention.

Your body isn’t “just tired.” It may just need support. 🌿

Your skin is a mirror of your gut.

Chronic acne, eczema, rosacea, or unexplained rashes often reflect internal imbalance — not just a topical issue.

We look at:
• Gut permeability
• Microbiome balance
• Food sensitivities
• Inflammatory triggers
• Detox pathways

Creams can soothe.
But healing often starts within.

Clear skin begins deeper than the surface. 🌿

Our Story

We believe and have seen when given the right stimulus the body can heal. We like to address things at the root problem. We recognize that the body did not get into the shape it may be in over night and it may take time to make changes in the body.

Dr. Kirby Thompson, ND, MSOM, LAc first became interested in Naturopathic Medicine when her father became ill with a debilitating diagnosis. He had to stop practicing medicine and was given a grave prognosis. At the advice of family in Mississippi, he soon started seeing a Naturopathic Physician and within one year he was practicing medicine again. It was a miracle. I also had some health issues and went to the same Naturopathic Physician and with time, the skin issues had resolved. I was amazed and thought, "I would LOVE to do that." So, I went to Naturopathic medical school. Right before I left for school, I learned about and fell in love with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. These aspects of medicine were facinating and they worked too! I am so grateful to have my perspective changed and a new education I can use to help educate and empower others in health and wellness!

Wildflower Wellness focuses on the patient. Dr. Kirby Thompson often says “people are like snowflakes; no two are alike.” We see that people are individuals that need individualized therapies. We work with our patients on a consistent basis making sure we are empowering our patients to take hold of their health and thrive. We believe in a strong doctor-patient relationship which allows us to work as a team doing whatever possible to help you succeed.

Wildflower Wellness IS an Integrative, Individualized, Holistic Approach to Health.
