Recovery is not linear.

Recovery is not one size fits all.

Recovery takes time.

During recovery you will have your ups and downs, but don’t give up. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep taking small steps forward. That means eating the snack in your meal plan you always skip, or having a fear food for the first time in months or years. You won’t be recovered overnight, it is going to take time. Recovery isn’t a race and you don’t need to be the first to reach the finish line. BUT don’t give up because..

RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE.

Eating disorders affect people of all RACES, GENDERS, and BODY SIZES etc. There is not a one size fits all when it comes to an eating disorder (or anything for that matter) Every eating disorder is severe enough to seek out help. YOU deserve to get better, YOU deserve to recover, YOU deserve help, YOU deserve access to care.

Kind Nutrition Mind in now taking insurance! I want to be able to provide eating disorder care to those who need it. The first step for me was accepting insurance so that my services were accessible to more people. I will continue to evaluate how I can make my care more available to those who need it most ❤️

Hunger and fullness can be hard to navigate. Diets put our body into a starvation state. After starvation two things can happen; feeling full and bloated before we have given our body what it needs, or binging to make up for what the body has missed out on. People also may experience a mixture of bo...

Hi Everyone! I thought it was time for an introduction

I’m Kristen and I am a health at every size (HAES) informed, anti-diet dietitian, who works to help people heal their relationship with food. I fell in love with eating disorder treatment and intuitive eating in college and was able to continue to learn more about it over the past ✌🏻years since graduation, thanks to some amazing people 😊 I recently opened a virtual practice that serves individuals 1:1 in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. My long-term goal is to have an office to I can work with individuals face to face.

5 fun facts:

1.I have a puppy named Stella 🐶 My boyfriend and I got her almost 2 months ago and she is our little love, swipe 👉🏻to see a picture.
2.I have a MAJOR sweet tooth especially when it comes to chocolate. I personally believe chocolate chip pancakes are WAY better than regular pancakes.( comment your thoughts below)
3.My favorite way to practice self-care is by doing yoga, but bath bombs and facemasks are a close second.
4.I have gone on vacation to Cape Cod every summer since I was about a week old, and I am hoping this year doesn’t get cancelled 🏖
5.I went to Disney World for the first time this past November! I have never been out of the country and Florida is the furthest I have been away from Massachusetts. Let me know some of your favorite travel destinations, my goal is to make it out of the country someday!
