The winner of the Distinguished Service Award for the month of December is....Ken Sirois, LPN – TCU 👏 All of us at the TCU would like to recognize and express the utmost sincere appreciation for Ken’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to the staff and patients on the TCU.

We have witnessed Ken connect a veteran to benefits when the patient was overwhelmed - showing compassion and respect to someone who has earned it, and then some. Ken possesses strong leadership skills, serves as a resource for all staff, and fosters a positive work environment with humor and humbleness. He exhibits teamwork, flexibility, and reliability, and when the days are busy and feel chaotic, he is the calm. It’s a pleasure working with Ken. He makes the days enjoyable and just a bit more fun!

We welcomed Michael V. Lin, MD, Physiatrist to our team over three years ago! Since then his holistic care has helped so many of our patients - optimizing functional recovery and improving their quality of life after stroke, brain or peripheral nerve injury, musculoskeletal conditions and other medical diagnoses. Dr. Lin is such a valuable member of our team‼️

Angela is a true team player. She is always willing to jump in to help complete special projects for the outpatient department and JCAHO tasks; along with other members of the team when she is able. She has a great personality and sense of humor that staff and patients enjoy immensely. Angela has taken on many roles and certifications to help the department and her patients. We thank her so much for her dedication!

Whittier’s therapy departments - inpatient, outpatient, and TCU - all donated gifts, as well as the front office and the doctors. THANK YOU to all who donated!! ❤
