When you find yourself people-pleasing, that’s actually a trauma response, not a personality trait.
You were taught, directly or indirectly, that being agreeable kept you safe.
This can come from trauma, conditioning, or growing up in environments where approval, harmony, or being “easy to deal with” kept things stable.
So you became that version of yourself.
And somewhere along the way, you stopped living for yourself.
When you start putting boundaries up, when you start living as your authentic self, when you stop hiding… things shift.
You realize the goal isn’t to keep everyone else happy.
It’s to stop abandoning yourself just to be accepted.
Come find yourself again...at the Cove.
