Synodia, who goes by Snow, Bote is a licensed practical nurse, or LPN, at Penacook Place in Haverhill, Mass. She is originally from Zimbabwe and relocated to the U.S. in 2000 when she was 31 years old — and she’s worked at Penacook Place for the last 23 years.

It was a beautiful day for the walk! Thank you to the team that came to walk, Maribel our admissions director and her daughter Christine, Judy our Mission Leader and her husband Mark, and two of our nurses, Malta and Emanuel and his daughters! Residents beat the heat and celebrated Summer with an indoor air conditioned Volleyball Game.

We celebrated 1930's Golden Radio Memories with a dramatization of War of Worlds by H.G. Welles and narrated by Orson Welles. The Penacook Players put on a great show! The audience was attacked by aliens with a strange green and purple goo but all lived to take a shower afterwards! 😂

Kentucky Derby Day was an amazing day here at Penacook Place! We were blessed with a visit from Pedro! The smiles on our residents faces were priceless! We are so grateful to Janet Murray our dietician for sharing him with us!

Kentucky Derby Day was celebrated with Run for the Roses Pool Noodle Horse Races! Our residents had so much fun! They were served Horse Cookies made by our Activity Director and Mock Mint Juleps!
