📣 It’s a big week for advocacy!!

Proposed Medicaid cuts of at least $715 billion threaten the vital services people with intellectual & developmental disabilities rely on every day!

These cuts would:
🔸 Shift costs to states… forcing cuts to care.
🔸 Jeopardize access to home & community-based services.
🔸 Destabilize the already-struggling disability services workforce.

This isn’t just policy… it’s personal. It’s about real people & it’s about our friends!

A Day of Friendly Competition, Community, and Impact!

Get ready to hit the court and join us for L’Arche Madness, L’Arche Boston North’s 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament! Gather your team, showcase your skills, and compete for fun and prizes—all while supporting a community of belonging and inclusion.

Games for adults of all abilities. Single player registration.

For the Kids (Ages 11–15): 3 v. 3 Tournament Team – $100 per team

Maria, one of our beloved core members at L’Arche Boston North, has the best cheerleaders around… her parents!

This week, they’re in Washington, D.C. advocating for L’Arche and Medicaid, and they even met with Congressman Seth Moulton to share how L’Arche has impacted Maria’s life. We’re so grateful for their passion and the way they’re using their voices to uplift our community.

Advocacy starts with stories and theirs is powerful!

The rumors are true!! 🤩 We are thrilled to announce that L’Arche Boston North is the proud new owner of the beloved A-1 Deli in downtown Haverhill! After renovations, we will be reopening the space as a community-focused café that provides meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Our café will be a place of hospitality, inclusion, and incredible food - including our infamous hummus! We can’t wait to welcome friends, neighbors, and the entire Haverhill community to gather at our table.

A huge thank you to Downey Law Group for guiding us through this milestone and to everyone who has supported our mission along the way. Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to open our doors in the coming months! ☕️🍽️🥙

CONGRATULATIONS to the new owners of the iconic A-1 Deli in downtown Haverhill, L'Arche Boston North. After extensive renovations, the restaurant will reopen in a few months and will be staffed by a dedicated group of professionals training individuals with disabilities the various roles and responsibilities of working in a restaurant. And they will make their world famous hummus for sale at the new location as well. We can’t wait to come check out the menu!
