Featuring hand painted gingerbread decorations, this wreath is one of dozens you can see while strolling through the museum space. We are always excited to participate in this annual community event. On Friday, October 24th the Bethany team came together to participate in the Power of Pink, our annual day to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. This year included a bake sale to raise funds for a donation to the Ellie Fund, and an Honor Walk where residents and staff who are breast cancer survivors walked a pink carpet joined by others who held signs in honor of women in their lives who fought the disease. It was an exceptional display of our team members and residents demonstrating support for each other and this worthy cause!

We were delighted to welcome local author Kalister Green-Byrd to Bethany Communities yesterday. Kalister shared her journey of writing her autobiography "Overcoming the Odds" and her experience as a nonagenarian first-time author. It was an inspiring celebration of embracing opportunities as we age!
