One gentle way to tell the difference:
If it feels urgent, loud, or panicky, pause and ground first.
If it feels steady (even if its surprising), thats usually your knowing.

They came in broken. They left more whole. đź’–

When this couple first started their healing journey, they were carrying years of unprocessed trauma. separately and together.

They weren't sure healing was even possible for them.

But they showed up anyway. Week after week. Doing the nervous system work, the shadow work, the hard and tender conversations that most people avoid their whole lives.

And look at them now.

Healing isn't linear. It's messy and sacred and so worth it.

Hey Facebook fam ❤️

If you’ve been feeling extra sensitive, emotional, or on edge lately, I want you to hear this gently: you’re not “too much.” Your nervous system is trying to keep you safe.

Here’s a 60-second reset you can do right now:

1) Put one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
2) Inhale slowly through your nose for 4.
3) Exhale through your mouth for 6 (like you’re fogging a mirror).
4) On the exhale, tell your body: “I’m here. I’m safe. I can slow down.”

Do that 3 times and notice what shifts.

When you feel dysregulated, your body is asking for a signal of safety. not a solution.

Try this gently: place one hand on your chest, breathe in for 4 counts, out for 6.

The longer exhale activates your parasympathetic system. It tells your body, "you're safe now."

Spiritual truth. Your breath is your most ancient grounding tool.

Do this 3 times and notice the shift.

If you're an empath, your body absorbs more than you realize.

Try this gently: wrap both hands around a warm mug, feel the heat, take three slow breaths, and let your shoulders drop.

That's it. That's the practice.

Simple touch + breath signals safety to your nervous system. Science and spirit agree on this one.
