How blessed Southern Pines Retirement Villa was to have my dear friend, Teresa Kersey, come and share her life story with us today, which has a lot to do with her "One Lost Sheep" Ministry! She understands that she was that lost sheep that knows about abandonment, homelessness, failed marriages, unsaved children.....and the list goes on! But God! She is a new creature because Jesus came into her life, and saved her and healed her from all the struggles she dealt with. She spends her time with people who are lonely, addicts, lost, needing food, homeless, dealing with failed marriages! She is already leading a Bible Study once a month at the Pulaski County Senior Center on Broad Street. To know her is to love her!

What a blessing to have Pastor Luke back with us today! He shared an inspiring message about the gift of eternal life. Let's reflect on our own journeys: have we welcomed Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, and surrendered to His guidance? Are we nourishing our faith through scripture and prayer? Are we sharing the transformative power of God's love with those around us? As we cherish the time we have, let's strive to deepen our connection with Him and live a life that honors His purpose.

More fun with Calvin Ardine from Georgia Hospice!

What a wonderful afternoon with Calvin Ardine, laison from Georgia Hospice out of Dublin. He got the residents body and mind moving and everyone received popcorn, candy, satchel bag which they got off of spending the wheel. We enjoyed watching Mary Greer dancing because that is what she landed on the wheel! Thank you Calvin for hanging out with our great group of folks, and we look forward to you coming back.

We played BINGO early this week and had a great time! Several of our other members won and wanted to give their prize to someone else, which was a very nice thing to do! We have a super bunch here at Southern Pines Retirement Villa!

Pastor Luke brought his friend, Mr. Hudson Temples, to speak to Southern Pines Retirement today. He used scripture from John 8: 1-11 and John 15: 12, 13 which dealt with laying down our lives for our friends, which Christ did for each one of us. He sacrificed his life for the payment of our sins. Pastor Luke ended by singing "I Gave My Life For Thee". It was a wonderful time together!
