Dr. Robert C. Campbell Dr. Robert Campbell is a physician specializing in general surgery with an emphasis on breast diseas Dr. Campbell is a Retired Army COL.

Dr. Campbell provides care for patients with abdominal, endocrine, and GI tract disorders and specializes in breast cancer and prevention. Dr. Campbell offers a full range of endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has completed four active duty assignments including three overseas deploymen

ts (Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan) and one residency teaching assignment. When not engaged in his clinical duties, he serves as Senior Associate for Mercer University/Taylor Regional’s Mastery of General Surgery program. A program that brings talented young general Surgeons to Hawkinsville for an additional year of training and mentorship. He lives in Hawkinsville GA with his wife of 34 years and has four children, (two married), three grandchildren , 6 dogs, and loves all things outdoors.

🌟Congratulations to our August Employee Spotlight, Whitney Carter!🌟

Whitney Carter has worked with Taylor Regional Hospital since May 31, 2023. She is a Certified Medical Assistant with Ocmulgee Surgical Associates. Even though, she has only been with Taylor Regional for a short duration, she has become an asset to not only Dr. Campbell’s clinic but also to our hospital. She helps the office with many duties including scheduling surgeries and getting prior authorization to ensure our hospital is paid for surgical procedures. She is always helpful in any way she can be to both patients and staff.
