The most common complaint I deal with in my practice is fatigue, by far! There are many causes, including medical diseases, like arthritis, diabetes, copd, heart disease, anemia, and numerous others. But they are not the most usual reasons. Actually, the most common cause is depression! Depression has many symptoms, like irritability, memory loss and lack of concentration, mental fog, loss of interest in your usual pleasurable activities, constipation, sleep problems, either too much or too little, appetite loss or gain, guilt feelings, loss of s*x drive, crying spells, wanting to stay in your room or at home and not getting out to do things you used to like to do, and thoughts of harming yourself, at worst. You start the morning not really wanting to get out of bed, not looking forward to your day at all! You don't even need to do anything to get tired, you are tired before you start!
