Join us in supporting the Wallenpaupack Area High School Protective Services students at their upcoming Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser!

These students are the next generation of EMS, fire, law enforcement, and military professionals and this event helps them continue learning, training, and preparing to serve our communities.

We don’t make it to St. Luke’s Hospital too often—but when we do, we’re proud to represent our community.

Today, Lackawaxen EMS, alongside our neighboring paramedic from Tafton Fire Company , transported a patient for care. Great teamwork and collaboration to ensure the best possible outcome.

No matter where the call takes us, our mission stays the same: delivering high-quality care when it matters most.

Yesterday, our crew had the opportunity to stand by for the Wallenpaupack Area High School Protective Services CTE students during their live burn training.

Firefighter students entered the training facility to extinguish the fire and perform interior fire operations, while EMS students stood by to ensure scene safety. Following each evolution, EMS students conducted vital signs and provided rehab for the firefighters.

Great job by all the students and instructors involved. We’re always glad to support hands-on training like this and be part of preparing the next generation of first responders.

This week, we recognize the incredible men and women of Pike County Communications Center-the calm voice on the other end of the line when seconds matter most.

Our dispatchers are the true first first responders. They answer every call for help, provide life-saving instructions, and ensure the right resources are sent—often before we even arrive on scene.

Their dedication, professionalism, and ability to stay composed under pressure make everything we do possible.

Calling all Chicken BBQ fans! This year we will be selling chicken barbecue dinners at Lackawaxen Township Fire Department’s Field Day on Saturday, July 19th.

Your $15 meal includes: half chicken, baked potato, applesauce, baked beans, roll and cookie.

Meals will be able to be picked up on July 19th starting at 4pm at Station 31.
