We have a very special horse who needs placement ❤️ “Orula” better known as Sarge, arrived with us several weeks ago when his non-profit program had their funding cut. Sarge was a therapy horse for veterans with PTSD. Sadly, the VA cut funding to his program and they were forced to close. We opened our doors for Sarge in hopes he could join our therapy team. A horse must past several requirements in our program to even be considered to work around the elderly and children and although Sarge is quiet and lovely, he just didn’t make the cut (most horses don’t, the ones that do are unicorns!)

We found photos and video of Sarge being ridden western and we were told he is a good boy. We have not ridden Sarge ourselves (he needed some weight and fixed his feet).

If you are able to give Sarge a deserving home, please reach out. We will measure him but he is around 16.1. No vices, very good boy! No known soundness issues.
