Went in for my annual physical today… walked out being told I’m “borderline obese.” Meanwhile the rest of my results basically say I’m the poster child for perfect health.
Wild how a single number on a chart can label you, especially when that number comes from nothing more than your height and weight. No strength measured. No muscle mass measured. No mobility, performance, or actual health metrics taken into account.
This is your reminder: BMI doesn’t equal your worth, your fitness, or your health — especially when it doesn’t measure anything except two basic stats.
I know my body. I train my body. I live health and fitness every day.
So yeah… call it whatever you want —
I’ll just keep being strong, healthy, and very much not what that chart claims.
